Ella Publishing Co. will not sell, rent, barter, share, skywrite, pantomime, or otherwise distribute your personal information without your express permission. For example, we know the exact whereabouts of Big Foot and the Lost City of Atlantis, and you can just try to pry it out of us.

You Can Always Opt Out

If we ever send you information by email that you'd rather not receive, we will include an opt-out email address so you can have your address removed from our list. It won't hurt our feelings, but we will miss you terribly. Okay, it'll probably hurt a little. But we understand.

We require some information for shipping and billing purposes, but we will never sell, give away, or share customer lists or information. We're just not that kind of people. We do not collect any other personal information that you do not expressly provide. Although if you do tell us details regarding the secret dream you had last night about Hugh Jackman, it will be tempting to share, but we'll restrain ourselves.

All your private data is transmitted using secure socket layer (SSL) encryption* and stored off-site on restricted database servers guarded by 7-foot-tall Orcs wielding machetes. You can rest assured that your credit card information isn't sitting on some editor's PC next to her kids' latest book reports. (Ella Publishing Co.'s owners themselves would have to brave the Orcs to gain access to your information.) And all reasonable efforts are made to protect credit card information while it is being processed.

Like most sites, Ella Publishing Co. makes use of browser "cookies," which are small text files placed on your computer's hard disk by our server.
