Looking for Talent...

We have exciting news to share!

We are looking for TWO talented Ella readers to feature in an upcoming eBook. That's right, folks, we have two spots available in our January eBook, which is just getting underway, and one of them might have YOUR name on it!

Here's What You Do

1. Create a layout based on this sketch:

2. The sketch is only guiding your placement of photos, title, and journaling. (Sizes: one 4 x 6 vertical photo and four 4 x 3 landscape photos.) As far as accents, patterned paper, and cardstock? Go crazy! Do whatever floats your boat.

3. The goal here is to follow the sketch fairly closely. However, we would be interested to see how you adapt this sketch to include more or fewer photos, IF the topic you're scrapbooking happens to need more or fewer. If you want to use exactly five photos as shown, that's awesome too!

4. Email a photo of your layout to submissions@ellapublishing.com by Sunday, October 25 with "Sketch Contest" as the subject line.

5. The two winning layouts will be posted on the Ella Blog on Tuesday, October 27. And those winners will be given a NEW assignment that pertains to our top-secret January eBook. Are you intrigued?

I'm wondering if it's okay to submit more than one layout? I submitted two layouts (2 emails) but I received only one confirmation. thanks

Yes, you can submit as many as you like, but you may only get one confirmation email.

It was so much fun creating a layout with this sketch, it was my first time designing with a sketch. I hope you show us the other entries, so we can be inspired by them!
