"Date" Your Scrapbooks: Calendar-based Journaling
by Andrea Steed - http://www.andreasteed.com
How about a book that features other kinds of memory keeping? I am thinking of blogging, journal writing, art journals, and memory quilts. The best person for the job could only be Allison Kimball.
I think it should be something holiday-related, like how to mass produce cute Christmas cards, or a whole e-book on cute handmade gift ideas, or something like that.
Recipe book - different ideas, templates, digital format to make recipe cards. With the holidays coming up this would be a great gift giving projects.
Also a book on random ideas of pictures to take or just random layouts. With someone with no kids, I am running out of ideas to scrap about. I have no idea how to make a book about this, so I guess that is why you are in charge and not me.
Great job in what you have produced so far.
An e-book on making journaling easier/quicker...
I would pick Cathy Zielske. Anything she'd create would be fabulous.
Would love to see an ebook with crafting/altering ideas for Christmas gifts.
I'd love a book on hybrid scrapbooking, and even though I have piles of photos from my children's childhood (I didn't start scrapbooking until they were young adults), I'd second the comment above about ideas for folks without kids in the house.
I'd buy anything by Cathy Zielske or Ali Edwards. Love them!
Would love to see an ebook that discusses colour - such as colour combos and why sometimes red + green don't have to equal Christmas colours. Another one would be using patterend papers effectively - I have tons of patterned papers - they rarely get used other than borders or strips. I'm not comfortable with patterned papers and would like to be. Along with that - anything by Cathy Zielske - but that's been mentioned about a gazillion times. :-)
Homemade embellishments! Cute little things that can be quickly added to a page for a BIG wow! I make journal spots, felt things and lots of things from paper. I'm too tight to spend a lot on factory made and pre-packaged embellishments. But I need more ideas!

I'd love to see an eZine with ideas for Getting Kids involved in scrapping;pages they can help with, using their writing for jounaling, minis they could make/journal for themselves, kids quizzes.
And anything Cathy does is brilliant!

Perhaps ways to use digi scrapping with a normal sized printer, but for 12x12 pages?
anything by Cathy Zielski, Stacy Julian or Ali Edwards. Right now I could use some Christmas gift ideas or how to's on creating gift calendars that don't cost a fortune.
I'd love some version of Wendy Smedley and Aby Garvey's Organized & Inspired Scrapbooking. I love that book and could love some extra inspiration!
How about an e-book about various solutions for handling all different types of memorabilia.
I would love some personal gift ideas with a simple twist to them--maybe you could have several contributors-lain, angie, cathy z, beth proudfoot, elizabeth dillow and me! I would buy it!
Have a happy day, Katie
More Cathy Zielske!
It may not be a huge topic but I would really be interested in tips on photographing layouts, cards and projects.
Oooohhhh, I forgot Beth Proudfoot and Margaret Scarbrough (spelled that wrong, I'm sure). I like them too! :)
Cathy Zielske or Beth Proudfoot are two of my favorites.
I'd really like a book with layouts that covers a whole year of family events. Maybe something that has a collection of 2 page layouts. I really like doing a yearly family album either in the traditional or hybrid style of scrapbooking. 12 x 12 would be my album size of choice.
Oh and as a follow up to my previous post......layouts with picture sizes would be very helpful. I find it very stressful to look at a layout and try to figure out how it's supposed to all fit together when photo sizes are not given. I'm a busy person.....tell me what size photos you used so I can quickly duplicate the pages with my own paper and embellishment selections
Most of what I would do has been said... gift ideas, Cathy Zielske, Stacey Julian, Ali Edwards. I would also add Jessica Sprague...
Perhaps something incorporating your faith into your scrapbooks especially around the christmas season. Especially things that can be made for kids, my kids love looking at their own pictures...
Stacy Julian's Finish Line scrapbooking; a book on mini album ideas; quick and easy pages with 4x6 photos; using kits (both paper and digital); Lisa Day or May Flaum have lots of good ideas to share - I'd buy e-books by them (and by the others like CZ and AE mentioned above). Thanks for asking for input!
Cheers
Any ebook by Cathy Zielske would be a must. Plus any subject to do with graphic design or clean and simple styles. Or how about themes for mini books. Love making them, have lots to do from blanks I've bought but then I have to be creative and come up with themes for them. Ta Px
I would really love to see books on using your stash or photo work flow or advanced digital techniques.
I would love any ebook by Cathy Zielske, Ali Edwards or Jessica Sprague. Also with the emphasis on journaling...being honest and candid with our stories.
I would love an ebook by Cathy Z and Ali E that includes templates (layered files) that I could use. I would also like to learn how Ali creates her wordart.
